A square portrait cannot be a banner.

Site headers, LinkedIn covers and email signatures are wide. Crop a square portrait into one and you lose the head or the shoulders — there is no third option. So we shoot the wide frame as its own composition, with the space beside you left empty on purpose.

Questions people actually ask

Will anyone be able to tell?

Sometimes. In blind tests AI portraits pass as photographs about 62% of the time, which means roughly one viewer in three can tell. What gives it away is smoothed skin and a smile that stops at the mouth — so we keep the skin as a photograph has it and never retouch the expression.

Will it still look like me?

That is what the six portraits above are for. Same person, six setups, nothing selected in our favour. If a gallery only ever shows you different people, it is answering a different question.

Why is there no waiting?

Older tools train a small model on your face, which takes twenty minutes to an hour per person and is most of what you are paying for. This reads your face from the photos you sent instead.

Can I get professional headshots online?

That is what this is. Online headshots mean nobody books a room: you send three photos from your phone, pick the categories after payment, and forty portraits come back in minutes. A professional headshot online is only worth having if the skin and the expression survive the trip — which is what the six examples above are there to let you check.

What happens to my photos?

Still uses your reference photos to create and check the results through its image providers. We do not train a dedicated model for each customer. Files in Still’s private storage expire after 30 days; you can delete an order’s photos earlier from your gallery. Provider processing and retention are described in our privacy notice.
